About Us
Smart Kitchens and Lighting Limited was founded in 2015 by Ranjay Sikka, Heena Sikka, and Shehbaz Singh Bhatti, and proudly trades as The Kitchen Creation. Formerly known as Smart Kitchens Limited, our brand has grown into a trusted name for premium custom kitchens and cabinetry.

We service Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga, with our manufacturing facility and showroom located at 2/2 Jellicoe Road, Manurewa, Auckland. You're welcome to visit us and experience our craftsmanship and creative process firsthand.
Our experienced team includes professional kitchen designers who bring deep industry knowledge to every project. We take pride in our people, our low staff turnover, and the personal attention we give to every client.

At The Kitchen Creation, we specialise in custom kitchen cabinetry, along with complete solutions for laundries, wardrobes, bars, coffee stations, home offices, and outdoor entertaining areas. Every space we create is tailored to your lifestyle, aligned with your budget, and designed to be clean, functional, and timeless.

We use advanced 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to help you visualise your space before it's built. This system connects directly to our high-tech manufacturing equipment, including a CNC router with auto loading/unloading, a German-made laser edge banding machine, and a CNC benchtop system.
Our factory can produce components for 3 to 5 kitchens each day, with each kitchen assembled by a dedicated cabinet maker. This combination of technology and craftsmanship helps us deliver high-quality, customised results that last.
Our Philosophy
The Kitchen Creation was founded to bridge the gap between low-cost, modular kitchen options and high-end, fully hand-built kitchens that are often out of reach. Our goal is to provide custom cabinetry that is built to last, thoughtfully designed, and sensibly priced.
We never cut corners. All our kitchens are made using High Moisture Resistant Board and premium hardware sourced from top-quality local suppliers. Everything is built to perform reliably and age beautifully.
