Smart Kitchens and Lighting Limited was founded by Ranjay SIKKA, Heena SIKKA, and Shehbaz Singh BHATTI in 2015 and traded as Kitchen Creation. Formerly known as Smart Kitchens Limited. Kitchen Creation is proud to be local and services Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga with a manufacturing facility at 2/2 Jellicoe Road, Manurewa, Auckland and the showroom located at 18 Noel Burnside Road, Manukau, Auckland.
Kitchen Creation employs a team of three experienced kitchen designers all of whom have had extensive industry experience. We regard our staff as our most important asset and have very low staff turnover.
The company uses state of the art Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software that enables clients to see exactly what their kitchen will look like in 3D. This software ultimately feeds information to sophisticated production machinery ensuring accuracy and competitive pricing.
The company uses advanced technology equipment including a CNC router machine with auto loading/unloading the system, Germany made a laser edge banding machine, and CNC benchtop machine to make kitchens for our clients. The high-quality production equipment allows us to make all the parts for 3-5 kitchens per day and assemble 1 kitchen per day by 1 cabinet maker independently.
Our Philosophy
Kitchen Creation was established to fill a gap between low cost (and often low quality) modular kitchens and those hand-built, labor-intensive kitchens that were beyond the reach of many people.
By embracing new technology Kitchen Creation is capable of designing and building custom-sized, high-quality kitchens at what our clients want it to be at a very sensible price
We made a considered decision from the beginning to never compromise on quality just to meet prices at the bottom of the market. For that reason, we will never be as cheap as a company using chipboard cabinets and cheap hardware. That’s because our kitchens are manufactured from High Moisture Resistant Board and use hinges, drawer runners, and pull-out mechanisms sourced from top quality local suppliers.
